Meute was founded by trumpeter Thomas Burhorn in Hamburg in 2015. The band had their breakthrough in early 2016 when their video for the song Rej by Berlin DJ duo Âme became a viral hit on social media.^[2] Within a week, their interpretation of the Deep house song received more than 400,000 views on YouTube.

After the release of their debut album Tumult in mid-2017, Meute toured music clubs in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Luxembourg. In total, the band gave more than 150 concerts in their first two years of existence.^[3] In 2018, Meute participated in the showcase festivals ESNS and SXSW, ending the year as one of the most booked festival bands in Europe.^[4]

"Weapon of Choice" is a song by English big beat musician Fatboy Slim from his third studio album, Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars. It features American funk musician Bootsy Collins. It was released as a double A-side single with "Star 69" on 23 April 2001, as well as a standalone single release, and a 2010 re-release with remixes. The single peaked at No. 10 on the UK Singles Chart.^[1]

The music video, directed by Spike Jonze, features actor Christopher Walken dancing around a deserted hotel lobby. It won multiple awards at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards and won the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Music Video.

“Drama Free” is a bizarre track in that it is slightly unsettling to listen to. The rhythm of the drums doesn’t match perfectly to Lights’ vocals, creating an eclectic, untraditional flow. The various industrial sounds woven throughout the track add to the overall unsettling vibe. Even Lights’ voice is warped to change pitch sporadically throughout the track.

However, the unsettling nature of “Drama Free” doesn’t stop with the song alone. The music video is the work of digital artist and filmmaker Nick DenBoer. DenBoer also produced the nightmare-fuel music video for “Monophobia” – if you haven’t seen it, click here to watch it.

Somehow, “Drama Free” manages to be the tamer one of the two videos. That being said, this music video is like an acid-fueled romp through the weirdest corners of deadmau5’s brain. It features rainbow blob monsters with human limbs, deadmau5 as a dancing baby, and a spiraling chain of disembodied human arms. No, I’m not kidding.

Barnum organises Lind's first performance in New York where she opens to a full audience. She performs her own song Never Enough and the crowd is blown away by her talent. Lind receives a standing ovation from the entire audience including theatre critic James Gordon Bennett.

Due to the success of her first show, Barnum begins planning the tour of the rest of the country.

While on tour, Lind performs show after show, becoming closer and closer with Barnum due to the amount of time they were spending together. Lind begins to develop feelings for Barnum and while in a hotel room between shows, Lind attempts to seduce him. She is upset when Barnum rejects her.

While on stage performing, Lind realises that she has fallen deeply in love with Barnum and him not feeling the same makes her break down (Never Enough (Reprise). Upon finishing the song and bowing with Barnum, in front of all the cameras, she turns to Barnum and kisses him on the lips.

Lind uses the kiss as her chance to say goodbye and continue her tour without him, as she knows he was returning home.

The photo of the two kissing is soon published in newspapers across the country and is soon found by Charity Barnum, impacting her and Barnum's relationship.

In the United Kingdom, the single originally reached number one on the UK Dance Chart and fifty three on the UK Singles Chart before being released on CD, from 12" vinyl and digital download sales alone. It was given a full release in Britain on 23 October 2006 and leapt to number two on the chart, selling 46,000 copies. The following week, the song climbed to number one. It remained at number one for one week before being knocked out by "The Rose" by Westlife. The single went on to be the UK's 20th best selling single of the year.^[1]

In both the United Kingdom and Australia, the song was released as "Put Your Hands Up for Detroit", with "4" replaced with "for". The song was also remixed in the UK, Germany and Spain and included verses from rappers Bizarre and King Gordy.
